North Carolinians are continuing the fight for affordable care

If the Republican-led ACHA bill passed, North Carolina residents would have been severely impacted. Estimates show that under the ACHA, North Carolina would get $6 billion less in federal dollars to fund Medicaid, a seven percent drop. Also, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), millions of Americans would have lost their health insurance.

Our commitment to defending the Affordable Care Act remains steadfast. President Trump and Congressional Republicans have continued their attempts to sabotage our care, but Americans across the country will continue the fight to protect our health care by engaging our elected officials directly and North Carolinians are committed to that fight.
